From day to night

Three more days, but feels longer than a week because of all we've been doing.  From wakeup at 9am to coming home anywhere from 11pm-4am, our days have been full of non-stop food, sight-seeing & fun.  Emphasis on the food.

Another day another breakfast.  Rice balls and grapefruit juice = best breakfast eva.

All you can eat sukiyaki with Jennifer.  We ended up finishing around 14 of those boxes of meat back there...No more AYCE please t_t

Tilting cups!  Intended for practical jokes.  The waiter set these three cups on the table and they started spinning all over the place.

Tea time with Hokkaido milk tea and cranberry apple teas.

Watching our first movie in Taiwan.  Awesome theater!! Comfy seats, emptyish theater, iced lemon teas, caramel corn, popcorn, & churros delivered fresh to our seat.

More...katsu...o.o

Melody and Jerry's turn to show us around now!

1st time at the batting cages.  Total aggression reliever hehe.  $10NT for 30 balls!

Jeff says I look the same playing golf & playing baseball.  Le sigh it is true.

Mini bowling alley upstairs.

Determining not only who gets hit in the head with that hammer but also who gets to walk home.

MOS Burger breakfast with Will.

Baby! We finally meet.

Funky looking vegetable but sooo delicious.  Reminiscent of Yen Sushi's sashimi salad.

Strangely delicious fried fishes.

Jeff and Will told me to try some "chicken."  Ends up being frog.  Sanks guys

Crispy bread.  So good!!

7-Eleven iced coffee, made to order.

That would be a real dog nibbling on that suitcase.

Xi Men Ding strolling.  Very cute & exciting street!  Who are these fobs?

Our first time at Vinya.  Loved it!! Best french fries w/ cheese & honey mustard.  +pineapple citrus & blueberry rose sodas.

Inside of Vinya--yet another cute cafe.

Making pizzas or performing surgery?  Everyone in Taiwan wears face masks when working in the food industry...or also just for walking around on the street.

Smoked salmon pizza!

Taipei city lights.

Spotted while waiting for the MRT at 11pm--a middle aged dance group dancing to Gangnam Style in a public square.  The things you see here!

Chirashi!

More sashimi goodness.

Individually wrapped sushi! Right after our chirashi bowls...

Walking through 228 Peace Park on the way to see Will & William.

Hope that guy back there didn't end up jumping in.

Grapefruit lemon juice with QQ.  BEST grapefruit drink I've had, ever!  I think I like these little QQ's, whatever they are.  +free samples of smoky rib Lays.  One of the best drink places so far, once you get past the peculiar name.

Twins walking through Taipei.

I guess it's allowed to bring dogs into restaurants here?? Coco where are youuuu...oh yea, back in America T_T

BACK at Mary Jane, second day in a row.  Celebrating William's homecoming!

Milk green tea & passion soda.

Pesto shrimp

Sausage

Seafood.  We were beyond stuffed at this point.

And then another one came.  Pesto chicken

...and then onto the dessert pizzas.  Banana, choco chip & marshmallow dessert pizza.

Apple pie with cheese.

The bustling streets of Xi Men Ding at nighttime!  Awesome.

Vinya again.  Killing a bit of time before watching Argo.

New case & pooh antenna topper!  I have officially integrated into the population of Taiwan.

At Juy Juy & Joey's anime-inspired Japanese BBQ restaurant.  Please excuse my face, we'd been out for at least 12 hours at this point sigh.

Just a small section of all the cartoon characters in this place.

With Melody & Jerry, 2nd stop of them showing us around!

With ze owner.  Sanks for the leopard print liquor!  Because he overheard me saying I love leopard print.  Sweeet guy.

EXTREME hole-in-the-wall restaurant for Oyster pancakes.  Basically an oyster house--everything in the restaurant contains some bit of oyster.  Quite an experience...let's say I feared for my life with every bite o.o

But ended up being very delicious!

Sweet and sour soup at our next stop of street food eats.  Keep in mind that it's already 1am at this point ._."

Xiao Long Bao.  Soooo delicious here.

Fried dumplings

Shooting games at the night market!  Easy peasy.

Our winnings!  Finally got these funky looking bunnies hehehe.

First time shrimping! At 2:30 am, with a decent amount of people in here still.

The bait.  Still unsure of what that blob is on the left, but very sure that I do not want to know.  Ended up using those mini dried up shrimps on the right.  Cannibal shrimps

Our first shrimp!!

Our second! ..and last one T_T after an hour of shrimping!

Getting prepped and cleaned before cooking.

Poor little guys still alive at this point...in the oven.

Finished product.  Yes we ate them...first for everything o.o.
4am at this point.  This city really never sleeps.

A pregnant shrimp.  aslkdfjalsdjf
