DVF&SJK

A few of our purchases from last week- I picked up DVF cut out booties & St. John over-the-knee boots. I wouldn't have imagined I would find anything I liked at St. John since I thought it to be for women in their late 50s, but these over-the-knee boots were modern & elegant. I'll be posting up pictures of these later!

Sidewalk Chalking

Found this on my driveway this morning. I suppose my friend raided my driveway late night & drew my fav. animal (seals, because they remind me of dachshunds) & my fav. landscaping of cobblestone roads hahaha. Really brings me back to when I would spend days out around my neighborhood doing absolutely nothing, but having so much fun doing it at the same time. Nowadays, when I go out it's with a purpose or destination in mind- never wandering around finding new things to do. So yes, this was a pleasant surprise! Down-side: my parents flipping out thinking that someone graffiti'd our house LOL

Mobiles

Here are a couple of photos I took with my phone cam- def not as good quality but the easiest when on the go~

Making frozen margaritas for the pool

So far summer has been filled with lots of food, biking, & pool-side lounging. The random pictures scattered in there are just little bits of my life- the draped lights are the strings of lights I put up in my room to add an outdoor lounge feel & the cowboy boots are a pair I came across while shopping around, of which I'm still pondering on whether I should purchase them or not. And all the other pictures are of food of course, which is what I spend most of my time and money on whenever I'm out.

Old bottlecaps

LA on a hot day some time last week. We had lunch at Milk and tried black cherry soda for the first time, which was not bad. We brought Coco along & he was surprisingly VERY well behaved. He sat silently on the chair next to me for about an hour! That's 55 minutes longer than usual. Love him!

Out in the wilderness

A couple of pictures from my trip to Sequoia late-July. 5 mile hikes, hungry mosquitos & more trees I will ever see in my life--I'm just glad to be home. But don't get me wrong, I had a blast hiking around the forest & trekking up to 7000-ft on Moro Rock. I accumulated around 10 mosquito bites, which I like to refer to as battle scars from our mini trip. Next time- ultra strong bug repellant & my Uggs for night-walking!
