Finally getting around to blogging about my recent New York trip! (Taiwan & Japan trips coming soon- stay tuned ;) Here's a few photo tidbits from the trip. There were so many beautiful things to do and see- and definitely enough time to explore since we were there an entire week!
First stop upon arrival - Grand Central Station & Shake Shack! Am I crazy for thinking it does actually taste better in New York rather than Las Vegas?
Hopping onto the train with a giant suitcase headed towards Harlem - never again.
Totto Ramen. Extra spicy miso ramen and char-siu buns with teriyaki sweet mayo.
Chocolate green tea lava cake at Spot Dessert Bar.
Handcrafted cocktails at the speakeasy Angel's Share.
My first experience at The Halal Guys. Not. Hyped. Whatsoever. I wasn't aware of how spicy their red sauce is, and apparently people are telling us that this is a LOT of red sauce, but it was absolutely perfect. I've been having dreams of this in Cali... Lucky for me they're opening an Orange County location this year!

Brick walls galore up in NYC. Taking so much advantage of it!
Dominique Ansel Bakery's frozen marshmallow. Ice cream and chocolate stuffed marshmallow on a stick.
I thought it would be hilarious to buy and wear the most touristy sweater to ever exist. I'm pretty sure I'll never wear this again =(
Lobster and crab rolls from Luke's Lobster
Empanadas from Empanada Mama
Beautiful cafes at Bryant Park

My first slice of NY pizza at Ray's Pizza
Spicy cumin lamb noodles made with fresh, hand-pulled noodles, and chilled spicy garlic cucumbers at Xi'an Famous Foods. So good we came back twice this trip!
Blackberry & blood orange cocktails at Kingside
Apparently New Yorkers are all about brunch?! Sunday brunching NYC-style with our girl Daisy!

Dough's dulce de leche donut and a side of cortado from Happy Bones
Birthday dinner at Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant. Every single dish was heaven in my mouth!
Checked into the Park Hyatt on our last two nights in NYC. The pool shows just a sliver of how amazing this hotel was.
Pork soup dumplings from Joe's Shanghai.
Central Park really is as great as people say it is.
Best pork buns I've ever had in my life. Ever. From Ippudo NYC

ABC Kitchen's crab toast is to die for. I don't have any other way to describe it. A must try!

Ending this very long photo diary post and saving the best for last. Rooftop Prosecco ice pops from Loopy Doopy Bar. Blackberry mint with gin, raspberry thyme with vodka, & red plum basil with rye, mixed into glasses of Prosecco.
Cheers NYC! Until we meet again :)
